Still An Open Forum
Bill and DED,
I would hope that the two of you will join in the spirit of what has just taken place here.
The forum will not be changing, just becoming more focused, I believe.
That does not mean we won't get into fights and call each other SOBs, but perhaps we won't dwell on it.
I am sure this is still an open forum and, IMHO, that is all good.
Like before, I am willing to leave it all behind. And you?
Respectfully,
Joe Riibaudo

Yawn
Bill,
I believe you are correct about Geroimo, but I think Peter is hinting that the Apache may have another meaning for Goyathlay.
On the other hand, there have been a few interpretations for Cochise.
The Chiricahua Apache say that his name means: "his nose" (Goci), and that he was given the name because of his large nose. They also say his name means "hardwood".
First time I have heard "fire firewood", but Peter should know.
Respectfully,
Joe Ribaudo

ILJR,
I wonder if your posts will fall under the heading of "unnecessary posts".
