Thanks. Then, I don’t think there is anything “unusual” about carrying around the samples. And I don’t think any person who does, would be considered a “fool”. I bet over the years a lot stranger things than ore samples have been carried into the mountains in people’s backpacks!

Getting back to Gassler. Does anyone know how many ore samples he was carrying in his backpack? Or the size and weight of the samples?
If he had just a couple and if they weren't unusually large or heavy, I could see him carrying them around with him.

Very good post Peter. Joe brings most on to himself, and evidently doesn't get it. I haven't seen "evidence" that people are "out to get him" or the forum. I enjoy reading this forum and have learned alot from it.
