i came across a post while browsing the archive,which at first glance was rather humorous, sitting bull and his connections with the superstition mts ,geronimo (spelt germino by the poster) and various other side issues.It seems, much to my surprise,that sitting bull did indeed travel that far south on more than one occasion,whether or not he met geronimo or hunted for the lost dutchman mine i couldnt in all honesty say
It makes for an interesting read, the source that is....michael oakes...life with the sioux... ballantine books 1976 reprint originally published 1912 by harper and sons and reprinted 14 times in 1913, 3 more times in 1919 and again in 1924.its probabley of no interest to anyone other than the original poster but nevertheless i thought id mention it in case they find it fascinating.
