Tolerance
I am truly perplexed that so many of my friends are against a mosque
being built at Ground Zero. I think it should be the goal of every
American to be tolerant. Thus the Mosque should be allowed, in an effort
to promote tolerance.
That is why I also propose that two nightclubs be opened next door to
the mosque, thereby promoting tolerance from within the mosque. We could
call one of the clubs, "The Turban Cowboy", which would be gay, and the
other a topless bar called " You Mecca Me Hot ."
Next door should be a butcher shop that specializes in pork, and adjacent
to that an open-pit barbeque pork restaurant, called " Iraq o' Ribs."
Across the street there could be a lingerie store called "Victoria Keeps
Nothing Secret", with sexy mannequins in the window modeling the goods.
Next door to the lingerie shop, a liquor store called "Morehammered."
All of this would encourage the Muslims to demonstrate the tolerance
they demand of us, so the mosque problem would be solved. If you agree
with promoting tolerance, and you think this is a good plan, please pass
it on...
For the sake of tolerance!

Cant really understand why thisis being allowed to go ahead? Of all the places they COULD build a mosque at,they chose this site.Dont the powers that be see how disgusting it is?Though I doubt it will remain in one piece for too long :

If you do not like the values of the West - see the First Amendment - you are free to leave. I hope for God's sake that most of you choose that option.
Please return to your ancestral homelands and build them up yourselves instead of troubling Americans.

They're demanding that Wichman be reprimanded, that the university impose mandatory diversity training for faculty,
And mandate a seminar on hate and discrimination for all freshmen.
Now, the local chapter of CAIR has jumped into the fray.
CAIR, the Council on American-Islamic Relations, apparently doesn't believe that the good professor
Had the right to express his opinion.

Saying the e-mail was private, and they don't intend to publicly condemn his remarks.

when I first came in here...well..it didn't work...I felt attacked...for my education and morals, not any information I don't have on the lost Dutchman mine...
so..finally joe an his research found out I wasn't much of a liar, and did in fact have an education and experience...

We both went somewhat over the line in our posts. For that, I apologize as well.
In recent times, I believe we have come to know each other much better. With that "knowing" comes a greater degree of understanding of where the other person is coming from.
