I don't care how they got it done, but glad he finally had to pay for his murders. He was a mass murderer and an enemy to the USA and all of our allies, I am happy that he is dead.

I'm happy as well, but being the eternal pessimist I am, a certain analogy immediately popped into my head when I heard the news...

Imagine if you will what happens when two rival gangs have been fighting one another for over a decade. One of them manages to finally slay the "godfather" who while he may no longer be the main force behind gang 1, is still a beloved figurehead, what generally happens?

I can't help but be reminded of the phrase, "you put one of ours in the hospital, we put one of yours in the morgue."

Well, we just put one of their biggest in the morgue!!

This is one of those times where we ALL need to be extremely vigilent - from the President to the military to each and every one of us, because I firmly believe this will simply escalate things in the minds of those who want to destroy America.

You are right in the possibility of escallation but, with bin laden gone the glue that held al qeida together is gone as well.
What we will see is a lot of infighting as each jackass fights for supremacy and some halfassed attempts at revenge, like the shoe bomber or the underware I cant say it with a stright face!
