2nd Printing of Dr. Glover's Book

Dr. Glover, I bought the second printing of your book. In it you indicate that there have been some technical corrections, plus some new material added. I wonder if you might point me at some of these corrections/additions? I've only had the book a couple of days, but I see all the chapter page numb...

I've seen that. I mean, the raw data, the full report? Not a summary?

Has anyone actually seen the actual detailed comparison data between the different ores? The data Dr. Glover used to reach his conclusions?

Re: The Lost Magill

If Crazy Jake didn’t have the boxes of Ruth’s papers, all we’re left with is the story redison shared about the CIA. That story reduces to Jake left DC because the CIA was unaware of a place called Arizona and Jake was going to live a quiet life out of the limelight so the CIA could never find him ...

kk, FWIW, I may be remembering wrong, but I think the $500 was what Dr. Glover paid for the sample he bought from Ron Feldman. Which brings up an interesting question - what happened to the other twenty-odd thousand dollars that the gold was worth? That's probably a non-question; $20,000 isn't that ...

Salazar Survey.

Skeelos,

The whole story is in one of the SMHS journals. I can't remember which one off the top of my head.

It might take us back to the Salazar Survey. Very precise if you know what it means. But someone who had been to the spot could just guide you right there without all the angle-figuring, etc.

Maybe!

What does "Doormen" want?

What is all this with his "Free Anonymous proxy list download"? Does anyone know what he's talking about? I wouldn't click that url for anything.
Do you suppose this is some hacker?

Someone here must have the computer smarts to know what he's up to.

Redison, Sorry if you took is as another insulting post, that's not how I meant it. I'm not trying to tell anyone what to do. I'm a guilty as anyone of being an immature fool (azdave was absolutely right), but if we could all just stop, including Joe, this might blow over. If we don't, it never will...

PS: I'm sure someone will want to flame me for the above. Please, do it in a PM, and let's keep it off the forum. I invite anyone to PM me at any time, about anything. No matter if you want to keep your identity a secret (as almost everyone has, so far).
Thanks.

I for one have had enough - I am trying to be a part of your group and I enjoy ALL of you - but I have now had enough - Good Bye and good Luck to ALL of you........I wish you all the best - for there is indeed a great deal of knowledge and talent here - that is not working together as it should be....

This has all gone way too far. This is not a "trash Ribaudo" forum. We're all free to ignore his posts if we like. The sort of rabid-dog type of circling and attacking that is going on here makes me sick. Wyatt, you're not really in a position to be gloating like you are, either. Joe may o...

Re: Jake Stories

I could tell you "Jake Stories" for hours and hours. Whether or not any of them are true or not I still don't know. But I can tell you that they are all very entertaining! Jake could Mesmerize you into a state that you didn't care if it was true or not, you just wanted to hear the rest of...

Hound Dog, I must be having a brain fart here: how do you go into the Superstitions at Reed's Water? When I've gone there, I came in either from Peralta or JF trailheads. If it's rained recently, it's a beautiful area. I haven't been there in maybe 15 years, and can't remember any artifacts there. B...

I can think of a couple of folks who possess an encyclopedic knowledge of the mountains and all that goes with it, but who have never posted a single entry here. How's that old saying go...? "He (or she) who talks the most, knows the least", or something like that. (Me, I never claimed to ...

TGH, What you have said is true, you can almost see when they draw the line, they will talk to a point and then it abruptly ends and there is no more that you can urge them to say. Case in point, a contemporary of Kochera's grandfather at San Carlos, a man named Yoohnha (Silas Edwards), I tried to ...

A friend and I found a claim marker in a shallow cave on the top northwest slope of the mountain a few years ago. Can't recall off the top of my head what the name of the claim was. I looked through my notes, and it was the "Tuffy #2". Does anyone know anything about that claim? Just curi...
