Ruth Killing

Let me refer back to Nicoh's question. I just last year saw a picture of the other side of Ruth's skull' Apparently the photos were taken by Brownie Holmes and they just surfaced. The hole on the other side absolutely in my judgement proves that a bullet went through Ruth's head.

Charles ( Chuck) Crawford

Loke, I guess I've been away from the web site for awhile. I decided to see what was happening. I seem to be spending much of my time in a fire fight with the Forest Service. The post on Chuck caught my eye. I know him pretty well. He's been around here for years. He actually lived at my place years ...

I probaly should of started a new topic under" being wized on. "Wiz, whatever anyone donates to this site is a function of how much time they have, what they know or don't know. If you look back into the older postings , you will see some things that I have offered. It is true that I have ...

Peter, You have done your research on Juh. I have an account; however that puts him in a supposed battle in the Superstitions in the 1840s. I guess anything may have been possible. I wonder if his age could be right to of even of been there. Do you know when he was born. I have not been able to find...

I think Peter is correct. First , let's go back to the original question, how many Peralta battles there were? I feel there was only one in the 1840s. How many Mexican battles , probaly at least one in the 1860s. As to why the Mexicans returned in the 1860s, they knew of the information of what the ...

Scott,

I just got back and found your question. An ore body or displacement of such would not qualify. Concentrates, I'm sure would not also. They are still created by nature. Bullion , on the other hand was made by man.

There are many aspects to the answer. First, and foremost ,one has to qualify on the requirements to even apply. It must be man made treasure you are seeking. You can not apply for one because there is a gold vein, as example. Trust me I know the complexities of a permit. You also have to prove to a...

To expand on that Joe, and bring it back to the Superstitions, through the years of taking many people into the mountain to search for what ever, I've met many veterans from the Second World War and the Vietam War, and they are all men I take my hat off to. America fights abroad for freedom of other...

Terry, I know this has nothing to do with the stone maps, but since your in Strawberry, jusy thought that I'd mention that we will not be in Pine this summer do to the total unwillingness of the Forest Service to let us operate in closure, where we would be of great value on the forest rather than o...

Joe, I don't remember ever saying that the maps led me north of the Salt River. Please refer to what was said if I eluded to that , and I will explain my position on the stone maps. Although I feel they are a hoax, that doesn't mean they are. There was a time I was interested in another area north o...

Who remembers what the Cavalry Trail used to be called , what Black Mountain at one time incorperated, where Squaw Tit was , where in fact First Water Trail was? All these and more have been changed , and with every change we lose history. It is one thing to change names that have existed for a long...

I guess now that Weavers Needle doesn't exist anymore, it is going to get even tougher to find the Lost Dutchman Mine. I have a little project for those that would like to partake. Get yourself the latest Tonto National Forest map 2001, and search the wilderness for what they have deleted . It will be obvious. I knew that they were on a campaign to erase history from the Mountain, one of such ways was to delete plac...

Thank you for the compliments , Joe. Although , I think Apache Junction had way less to do with the way my sons turned out , than the way we taught them , I certainly welcome people that seem to be of Kupa's beliefs here. We certainly need help in that department all over the west, not just Apache J...

Well said, Wiz. The land is being taken away from the American public, and the history is being erased, by the green suits themselves. If you don't believe it , just take a look at any map of the wilderness today and try and find even a designation of where Reavis Ranch was, amongst many other thing...

I think there is abit of confusion here. Mesothermal does only not refer to the geologic period when something is deposited. There are basically three types of ore, Mesothermal, Epithermal, Hypothermal. Each has there own characteristics. The test was not only based on whether one ore was mesotherma...

Rosebud, You have a very valid idea, for the ore from the Bradshaws, I believe it is mesothermal, like Kochera's and Dutchman ore; however reread the ore testing in Glover's book and the information on the ore on the old postings on this site. To me the fact of the high probability of Dutchman ore a...

Joe, There were in fact claims filed in Mesilla , New Mexico before Arizona became a state , and in fact before it became a territory. As stated in the book, titled , " Spanish and Mexican Records of the American Southwest, " by Henry Beers, on page314," In 1851,that part of Arizona n...

No Joe, don't say less, because then it would not be Joe. It would be, I think, a wild unfounded assumption to say there is a small amount of gold found in all canyons in the Superstitions, especially when not many canyons , trust me, have been prospected for gold to any great degree. As for East Pi...
