Re: Almost buried alive
There has been a lot of exagerated tales associated with the LDM, much I believe being done by those who wish to keep certain information a secret. There are groups of people that are even today trying to "rewrite history" so that it appears as if the Spanish or Mexicans never mined in the...

Re: Almost buried alive
Most of us Dutch Hunters do not believe that there is any treasure inside Weavers Needle. This infers that the interpretation of the stone tablets must be wrong, in that respect. One of the main problems with any theory about the tablets is the apparent ease of following the trail to the end and fin...

Re: Almost buried alive
Shelby A cursory look at the stone tablets gives a strong impression, to most, of the importance of Weavers Needle. It having been described as a heart by many others. The heart shape is a major component of the tablets even down to one of them actualy cut in the shape of a heart, I can see how some...

Re: Almost buried alive
Hello Shelby For me the key to understanding the story of the LDM and Jacob Waltz rest with Waltz himself. He was about 60 or so years old when he reported that he had found a rich gold mine. His enigmatic clues filter down to three that are rarely disputed. One is that "No miner would ever fin...

Re: Consider this
Hello Joe On my post " Almost Buried Alive " It was your response to paul about the "cathartic release " which I took to mean that what I said I did was BS. You are apparrently right about one thing, I seem to have a thin skin. I do appreciate the apology. :) Maybe some day I wil...

Re: Consider this
Just a quick question for you Joe How do we get closer to an understanding when you post that what I say is BS ? :? You do not know me, how old I am or how long I have researched the LDM and when I offered to tell and show you a significant clue to understanding the tablets, you just ignored the off...

Almost buried alive
I have been a dutch hunter for more than half of my life. As a result, I had amassed a rather large collection of notes, maps and photos, and today I got rid of them all. I had contemplated organizing and cataloging them but the task was to overwhelming to seriously consider. I am posting this here ...

Facinating photos, have these markers lead you to anything of significance ?
Since it is possible that that Mike may be right in that the treasure may have already been recovered.
Best Regards

Re: THE GENUINE STONE MAPS
Garry, I would like to give you some additional thoughts on Jesuits and map symbols. It is an accepted fact that Jesuits were the finest educated individuals of the time. They had no need of Spanish symbols in their map making unless they wanted the Spanish to follow their map to the treasure cache...

Re: Consider this
Joe Since you are obviously well aware of the story as presented in Glovers book, it would have been more appropriate IMO to have stated that I had Travis confused with his brother, rather than just say that I was wrong as if I don't know S***T from Cinncinati. But you are who you you are. Best Rega...

Re: Consider this
I thank you for that vote of confidence It is the H/P stone that is most significant. I do not understand why the H/P stone is considered a fake, is it because of its different style ? or perhaps the material ? The H/P stone is the most complicated of the 4 stones and on one hand makes it the most d...

Re: Consider this
You may be right but I would bet that it would be tied up in the courts for a decade. I find it interesting that the evidence for travis carving the stones comes from people who will not name thier source or thier source has passed away leaving no way to verify the story. Not one person can say the...

Re: Consider this
You make a good point, as you may well know from my previous post I believe that the stone maps lead to a vault containing 924 pounds of gold.
A discovery like that would be very difficult to retrieve and keep secret,
Best regards
