For those of you interested in such things, there is an article in Desert USA
Newsletter by a "Mr X" who claims to have found the LDM. He apparently used the Stone Maps to find the mine....(well its an interesting read at least). I really liked the part about the "Indian curse" and the author clearing that up by chanting to an "unknown God"...lol

Well, this was posted awhile ago and no one commented on it. I checked out the link and read the articles. Well... I'd have to see more to know where Mr. X is trying to take us...
However, at the bottom were comments to Mr. X's article. One was interesting, in that it was incredibly bold. A person named Buzz claimed to have "found" the LDM. Had taken gold out of it. And said there was plenty more. A rod with colored stripes was mentioned as amarker.
So? Is that just another "boast" we get so often on the forum? Or is there any substance to this claim - Buzz's claim? Anyone ever see this supposed rod?
