I just received confirmation from the Forest Service that we can begin our excavation as soon as Forest closures for fire are over. Along with this we were sent the go ahead by Shipo, ( State HistoricaL Preservation Organization), which was what was holding us up.We will begin around this October.

Hooray! That's great news (finally, huh!). See ya then. Probably sooner, though, as I'm sure I'll be going up to Pine a couple times like I do every summer.
