I can't believe it!

Post by Knun »

This poor woman! The police made her take her headscarf off for her booking photo!! I can't believe the police in this Country would even consider such a thing.
"The police booking photo of alleged child killer Nour Hadid released Tuesday is an "insult against our religion," says Hadid's husband, Alaeddin.
Orland Park police detectives say the 26-year-old Muslim woman was treated as any other suspect in a murder probe would be, and they did not intend to humiliate her when they photographed her Sunday without her headscarf and wearing only a skimpy top. "
Hadid is not "any other suspect." She is a Muslim, and therefore above the racist, sexist, homophobic procedures of Christian white male capitalist exploiters.

For those able to move past the outrage:
Nour Hadid is accused of beating her 2-year-old niece Bhia Hadid to death over four days at her home on the 9000 block of West 140th Street. The child had 55 separate bruises and was beaten "from head to toe," according to prosecutors, who say Hadid confessed.
His husband is focussed on the humliation his poor wife endured.
Alaeddin Hadid — who insists his wife is innocent — said Orland Park police are "really going to be in big trouble" for releasing the woman's booking photo to the news media after she was charged with first-degree murder. "It is against our religion; we do not do this in our culture," Alaeddin said.
By the way, his own involvement in the child's death is still under investigation.

My simple question is why does this even make the news! The killing should be front page! The poor child was TWO YEARS OLD! But because of all the ASSHATS out there the story is about a violation of islamic tradition!

I hope you asshats are proud of yourselves! This is what you wanted and you got it!

How about this!

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/200 ... landslide/
Self-proclaimed victims of global warming or those who "expect to suffer" from it — from beachfront property owners to asthmatics — for the first time would be able to sue the federal government or private businesses over greenhouse gas emissions under a little-noticed provision slipped into the House climate bill. …
Under the House bill, if a judge rules against the government, new rules would have to be drafted to alleviate the problems associated with climate change. If a judge rules against a company, the company would have to purchase additional "carbon emission allowances" through a cap-and-trade program that is to be created by Congress.
The measure sets grounds for anyone "who has suffered, or reasonably expects to suffer, a harm attributable, in whole or in part," to government inaction to file a "citizen suit." The term "harm" is broadly defined as "any effect of air pollution (including climate change), currently occurring or at risk of occurring."
What the heck are these ASSHATS thinking. Could one of the local asshats explain?

asshats gone wild

Our Colleges......home to the original asshats.....where ASSHATS mature and are nutured.

The case was prompted by an incident just before Christmas in 2007 in which the students went to deliver a Christmas gift to a professor.
"Kandy found the instructor alone in her shared office," according to Pacific Justice. "When the instructor indicated she was ill, Kandy offered to pray for her. The instructor bowed her head, and Kandy began to pray — until she was interrupted by another faculty member, Derek Piazza, who walked in and said, 'You can't be doing that in here!' Kandy quickly left and rejoined her friend and fellow student, Ojoma Omaga. Piazza followed Kandy outside and repeated his rebuke."
While the students reported they were surprised by the teacher's aggressive behavior, they were stunned when, days later, they both got letters notifying them of the college's retroactive "intent to suspend" plan.
The letters, however, provided no facts on which to make such a threat, listing only vague references to "disruptive or insulting behavior" and "willful disobedience."
School officials informed them during administrative hearings that Kyriacou was being disciplined for praying for the sick teacher. Omaga was not part of the prayer, and her offense apparently was that she was with Kyriacou a short time later.
The lawsuit was filed when the college refused to rescind the letters, leaving the students in peril of suspension or expulsion for any other offense, such as praying on campus. The decision from U.S. District Judge Susan Illston turned back college attempts to deny the students a hearing on their complaint.

Why buy a house...do it the asshat way!

Post by Knun »

Housing in the Obamanation!

Michael Stoops, executive director of the National Coalition for the Homeless, said about a dozen advocacy groups around the country were actively moving homeless people into vacant homes — some working in secret, others, like Take Back the Land, operating openly.

In addition to squatting, some advocacy groups have organized civil disobedience actions in which borrowers or renters refuse to leave homes after foreclosure. …

In Minnesota, a group called the Poor People's Economic Human Rights Campaign recently moved families into 13 empty homes; in Philadelphia, the Kensington Welfare Rights Union maintains seven "human rights houses" shared by 13 families. Cheri Honkala, who is the national organizer for the Minnesota group and was homeless herself once, likened the group's work to "a modern-day underground railroad," and said squatters could last up to a year in a house before eviction.

A modern-day underground railroad. What the hell!!

Crows Bill Faith of the Coalition on Homelessness and Housing in Ohio:
We're seeing sheriffs' departments who are reluctant to move fast on foreclosures or evictions. They're up to their eyeballs in this stuff. Everyone's overwhelmed.
That's the idea, of course. As community activists spread the word that there is no need to pay for a house when you can just seize one for free, asshats will eventually overwhelm everything, allowing the entire country to degenerate into a Third-World communist slum and fulfilling the dreams of the liberal press.

Unsurprisingly, Obama's ACORN friends have also been involved in seizing houses.

Who's Who?????

Post by Joe Ribaudo »

Hopefully one of the uber-liberals can explain this to me......

Why is it that this administration's voiced policy is that we will no longer use the words terrorism and terrorists when referring to Muslim extremists who saw off the heads of living human beings, and blow up men, women and children who have only committed the onerous crime of being where they can be reached.

On the other hand, this administration has no problem using those terms to describe Americans, especially those who serve(d) in our armed forces, and citizens who are peacefully demonstrating against policies they disagree with.

I am reminded of the times that those who have voiced conservative opinions, here, have been attacked with the most vile names and aspersions that can be dredged up by our few house liberals. I am convinced that the same mentality that vomits their insanity on this site, is what is running this country now.

For some, the reality of the situation may never come to them until the knife is at their own throat. Perhaps the time to think about it is NOW!
