Excavation

I would like to know more about what you've found. A Spanish tunnel, you say? You must have found artifacts already to verify your claim to the feds - what sort of artifacts? Do you get to keep part of the loot, or only the publicity? How does that all work?

I like the web site, and hope more people start posting things. But please, lose the little gila monsters that keep crawling all over the screen and stopping on top of whatever I'm trying to read!

This tunnel was opened in 1959, The people who went into it found some artifacts and also timbering which date it as hipanic. I have do[beep]entation to that effect. The man that led that dig was the central character in " Crooked Mountain<" which tells alot of the story of the history behind this dig written in a novel form. We will ,if we find anything the government will confiscate it for one year and then it is split between the government and us. My main interest is really not for the bullion, as much as finding out about the history that went on there.
