There are at least 7 people that have asked me if a copy of the book
Borrego 13 was still available. There are 11 copies left of the
original. I have asked a friend of mine to handle this for me due to
my health declining rapidly. He has asked that for those interested in
it - you may send $30. plus $5. for shipping and handling to.......

Also - there are some that have Mac's and wanted to know if the
book will work on a Mac.? I do not know - They are in J-Peg picture
format and I assume it will - perhaps someone here that has it
already, can answer this question.

Gene Reynold's book can be viewed on a Mac with no problem. Jpeg files are universal between PC's and Mac's. I have a G4 and it worked fine.

You will find that each page of Gene's book is a scanned file and has to be opened one at a time. A word of caution - the file names have a page number in them, but a number of those are incorrectly labeled vs the page in the file. You can just print them all out and then put in order. I corrected all the file naming errors and got an electronic file in the correct order.

Borrego 13 is a great read and makes one want to head for the desert of Southern California!

Just wanted to thank all of you thank purchased Borrego 13. And thank you Roger for the help.........There are only 4 left now ..... I will keep the door open until December 20th, at that time it will be the last of them and the window closed........I will also be shuting down the computer just after New Years.

For those of you who have not ordered Borrego 13 yet, it is a great read. Has some interesting information but the human story is what is so fascinating.
