I have read several descriptions of the ore that was found under Waltz bed.
Some stories mention $11,000 in value,1/3 metal, gold set in quartz ect..
If I were to bring back some ore that was rich in color,Can this ore be determined to be from the same lode Waltz gold came from? Any Ideas on who We could contact to confirm this?
Scott.
What does the LDM gold look like?

My understanding is that gold can be idintified as to the area it came from, not nessarily the specfic mine if they are close and on the same vain.
Some of the stories I have heard claims the gold found under the Dutchmans bed was in rose quartz that had never been seen before. If that is true and a sample still exists,it would not be hard to idintify gold from the same mine.

I suggest reading the chapter in Glover's first book on the ore testing. It is very enlightening.
The matchbox was made from ore under the bed and it is NOT in rose quartz. Nor was the other ore that was tested and matched the death-bed ore.
If one were to bring out gold and have it tested, I would assume one could contact Glover and see if those results matched what he and the owner of the matchbox have.
