Jim Bark
Could anyone tell me a little about Jim Bark? Like when & where did he die,what did he do after he got out of ranching,does he have any living descendants etc.? Thanks.
LDM near cave creek?
speaking of jay frazier's book.....he says the LDM is located on barks old ranch by cave creek....he could be right....i used to work that mine with the current owner of the mine.....i have seen the ore that he pulled out of the mine......assay's over 750 oz to the ton......it may not be the LDM.....but he has one thing that no one in the superstitions has produced....THE GOLD......

I do know that the Spangler family was still actively involved in searching for the mine until at least the 1980s, basing most of their search on the clues that Uncle Jim passed on to his family down through the years. Whether or not any of Barks descendents still seek the mine at this time...I do not know.
