milton rose wrote alot of treasure stories and lost mine stories...most of them were b/s.....his family owned the mesa tribune at one time...he was a figure in the lost dutchman mine ...there should be plenty about him on the internet if you do a search

it looks like they finally got the baby raper...i think we all know who i'm talking about.....they had him 10 years ago but he bought his way out of it....hopefully this time they can make it stick

i met chuck crawford about 12 years ago...he had some claims on the east end of the superstitions.....he claimed to have over 80 ounces to the ton of platinum...i had a mill at the time and he wanted me to work his ore for him.....i lost contact with him and we never struck a deal....i wouldnt mind ...

sure joe...i'd like a copy of the claim...also one more thing about obie....i dont know how true it is....but warren told obie had a photo of him and teddy roosevelt when they did the rope cutting ceremony at the roosevelt dam...warren said he saw the photo....my email is [email protected]

hi joe.....a number of years ago i met a couple guys that were partners with obie on a mine he was trying to open up by second water....i went in with them and saw their diggings.....there was a tunnel close to the base of the mountain that obie told them was the original tunnel that he found in the...

LDM near cave creek?
speaking of jay frazier's book.....he says the LDM is located on barks old ranch by cave creek....he could be right....i used to work that mine with the current owner of the mine.....i have seen the ore that he pulled out of the mine......assay's over 750 oz to the ton......it may not be the LDM.......

for the most part crazy jake was a con man.....conning people to invest in his mine..(which he didnt have)..and then stealing the investment funds....there is plenty of public info on him...but i'm sure some of the others in here could tell you more about him

the old bush highway?
does anyone know where the original bush highway was back in the early 1950's?......bush highway is now power road....but in the 50's there was another bush highway.....can any of the old timers tell me where?.....thank you
