Court trial over the ore under Waltz's bed when he died
I have heard it said by a number of people that there was a court trial between Julia Thomas and Dick Holmes over ownership of the gold ore that was under Waltz's bed when he died. Has anyone ever run across any official court records that verify this trial ever took place? Assuming for a moment tha...

Bees
Last night I remembered something else about my friend's experience that I forgot to mention. I have also experienced this same thing with the Scout Bees I have encountered in the mountains. When you first encounter these Bees, they will actually bump you in the head and face. Not sting, just bump a...

Gents, Here's another thought. Perhaps the Bark/Conatser clues attempt to get someone into a specific area of the mountains from a specific direction. And the German Clues try to get someone into the same area. but from a different direction. Just talking off the top of my head....but it is a possi...

German clues
James, (CuMiner) Sorry if it sounded like I was addressing you personally. I see how you could take it that way. It was meant for the open forum and was just the luck of the draw that your post triggered it. I just get very agitated about the idea of someone attempting to introduce NEW evidence into...

German clues
CuMiner, No offense taken at all. It was an excellent post and you point is excellent. We often slip into a mode of bouncing one author's work against another's and wind up contradicting our selves in the process. Unless you have spent a lot of time in the mtns and found things yourself that aren't ...

Bees
P, That's a good question that I forgot to ask. I doubt that it was Jerky or trail mix tho. That stuff gets old about the third day. I have been camping with him a number of times and he usually carries canned stuff. I know, it's heavy! but what you don't eat, you can stash.. His favorite quick snac...

Bark Clues
P, The copy I have of the Bark Notes Has a very detailed list of things that Rhiney told Bark. Maybe contradict was was a bad choice of words. My point was, Bark's list of clues and the German clues all of which are supposed to be what Waltz told Rhiney, are no where near the same. CuMiner Estee Con...

Overlap of clues
P, I guess one overlap is good, even if it is not "well known" I still feel that since Jim Bark questioned and later cross examined Rhiney on 41 or so points on what Waltz said, and Hermann's only source of information was Rhiney (besides Julia which one would expect to be almost identical...

German clues
P What bothers me most about the German Clues in Corbin's book is that there is no overlap with the clues in the Bark Notes that are supposed to have come from Waltz thru the Petrasches. 25 bran new clues with no overlap of old clues? They were easier to believe in when there were only 5 or 6 German...

More on the German clues
One last note on Spitzfelzen vs Felzenspitze. Look at page 184 of Corbin's book 3 lines up from the bottom of the page you will find the German word felsenseicter (again two seperate words spliced together into on) sorry, I keep putting a Z in felsen where an S should be. my error. Felsenseicter mea...

Getting back to Spitzfelsen.....
Heres something interesting. Being bored and having some time on my hands, I went into a German chat room and had them translate the German Clues in Corbins book for me. And yes I went over every single sentence..... Most of the wording was word for word with what Corbin relates in the book. Howeve...

Africanized "Killer" Bees in the mountains
September 3, 2005 The season for hiking and camping in the mountains is almost upon us. Before venturing into remote areas of the Superstitions, a lot of thought should be given to the topic of Killer Bees, and what you would do if you encountered them in a remote area. There is little doubt that th...

Jesuit Expulsion
I hear that Joe, Then I turn on the evening news and form the conclusion that. Nothing has changed! This topic was founded on stories about Jesuit items reported to have been found in the Superstition Mountains and Sylvester Mowery's (and others) writings about the Jesuit's being involved in ...

The King's Code
Joe Some people believe in the King's Code, but you will never see anything about it in my posts. re: The Jesuits would not be hiding the evidence of working mines in the Supes. Re: Dutch Hunters
[quote="Joe Ribaudo" Keep in mind that many people who are considered "Dutch Hunters" were actually looking for Jesuit Treasure, not a mine. Joe Ribaudo[/quote] Joe, As every miner knows, the best place to find gold is where it has been found before. If the Jesuits/Spainyards/Mex...

Jan, Very nice! Beats anything I’ve ever seen in support of the argument that the Jesuits were involved in mining and that they did make it as far north as the Superstitions! Edgar Cayce clues to the LDM
I found this while surfing the Net following LDM hits. For anyone that thinks they are close to finding the LDM this may give you the final clues you need to know where to dig. It is a bit confusing at first but the more you study it the easier it gets to sort out Cayce's words. There are some final...
