stone maps
Buscar,
I believe the stone maps at the mines and minerals museum are copies of the origianls ( the ones on the bumper in glovers book ).
I have had the opportunity to handle and photograph the ones at the mines and minerals museum.
This is just my opinion.

Billy,Wyatt,BlackBeard,Treasure Guru, ROCHA, and all the other identities I cant remember: I see things havent changed with you either, still using multiple identities. I am NOT in favor of a moderated forum. But if everyone keeps it up that is exactly where this place is headed. Good Luck in your e...

Moderated Forum
All, I dont post here often anymore nor do I check this forum as much as I used too, I see things have not changed here at all. That's a shame, this used to be a good forum, now it reminds me of the tuesday night fights on ESPN. What a waste of a perfectly good forum. This forum soon will be moderat...

stones
Novice, You are following pretty good, the stones in the museum are not the ones depicted in Dr. Glovers book or the Life magazine article that was done in the 60's. I have been to the museum and photographed and handled the stones, my first impression when I saw them was they were too small. The st...

Doesn't add up!!
All, This whole Jan scenario doesnt add up as Peter has pointed out, I have never thought that Jan was who she claimed to be. If this is a sick joke, which it appears that way, is one of the reasons why many people have stopped posting. There is only one person who has claimed to have met Jan, I wil...

Missions
Joe, You said: “ Other than "legend", is there any evidence that a Jesuit was ever in the Superstitions? Any evidence of a Mission in the area? That was usually the first thing Jesuits did, near a mine. “ Yes missions were constructed close to mines and a water source, but….if they went in...

grandstanding
Billy,
I got one delted as well along with a few other people. None of us are grandstanding about it. When you post in a moderated forum thats the chance you take. If that bothers you post in the unmoderated forum.

rock
Jan, The rock depicted on page 294 is bigger than it looks, I am sure heavier as well. Yes rocks that have carvings on them were not meant to be moved. Those carvings on that rock can as well be bigger than they appear. Fact is those carvings are indeed spanish, the photo I am sure does not do justi...

alias"s
Dave, You and Joe hit the nail right on the head, that would eliminate a lot of the garbage around here, which has needed to be taken out for a long time. I get sick of seeing alias’s posting to steer the conversation in a certain direction or to a website. It is so obvious who is behind it w...

Jesse,
I like the idea of no editing, I am tired of seeing " No news is good news".
Just my two cents worth!

Billy, I see your up to your old multi personality posts again; tell me just what is your purpose here? If you have something to discuss on the Lost Dutchman post it, if not then don’t. The horse and the church
Skeelos, Why yes....I did say I was going to drive past that church and see for myself. I must admit.. I never did, I got busy with something else and forgot about it. I apologize if I left anyone hanging waiting to see the picture. Now that I see that photo I am wondering how Mr. Spencer came to th...

24 hr. time frame
Knun, Your scenario is an interesting one to say the least. For me the 24 hour period I would like to go back to would be the placement of the mislabeled “ Peralta” Stones. I say mislabeled because I don’t believe the Peralta’s had anything to do with them. I think they should be labeled the “ Jesui...

Thanks
Aurum, Thanks for the hello, you never cease to amaze me with the content of your posts. You are quite knowledgeable in the history of the Lost Dutchman and its players and locations. I was in that area awhile back and saw a “ turtle “ monument, it was one of the most detailed I had ever seen. Kinda...
