TO ALL, For scientific, only the facts kind of researchers you sure are not using that aproach on this one. To assume an area or destination, based on dutchman lore etc., and trying to reverse engineer can be the wrong thing to do. Only if you know where the famed Soldier Boys gold was found can you...

Joe, I believe R. Holmes was more than a casual friend. Where do you get that? It was said R. Holmes helped Jacob dig up Weisner at Walkers Ranch in 1890 to rebury him. It is said R. Holmes helped Jacob sell bullion. It is said Jacob told R. Holmes of a cache that he later retrieved. How about the c...

Joe, Aurum

If Aurum is related to Matt Cavaness, maybe you could tell me where to find posts on such subject matter. I am very interested. I don't expect Aurum to answer. I'm sure it would be repetetive.

Thanks,

Jesse

Joe, I don't believe it is a bold statement. I believe it is obvious as the sky is blue. Yes, there is a way to prove a massacre somewhere else that actually pertains to the Peraltas and Perro Mucho. You would have to have permission for an archaeological dig in the wilderness of grave sites. The gr...

Tom, I believe your barking up the wrong tree with the Massacre Grounds. There is no way to prove this massacre had anything to do with the Peralta Mines. As I said before, I believe Chief Chuntz massacred Pima Homeguard at the M. Grounds. If you think the L.D.M. is anywhere near there, you are mist...

Hi Joe To me - my answer is unmuddled. I say all conjecture because I or anyone alive today was not alive during the most important dates. If there was a priviledged person, would you believe them without video tape. Even that can be made to look different depending on point of view. Same with books...

Since it can be all conjecture, I will attempt to only produce a date and reason on that premises. I would have to choose 1864 with Waltz and Weisner helping the small group of Peraltas, who were here to seceretly remove caches and start mining as the Peralta seniors did years before, excape their d...

Roger We have been working very hard on the dig. For some reason we have gone silent on dutchhunter. It may be explained by the need to digest information and continue by ourselves for a while. We have lots of exciting things to share but ultimately it is up to our webmaster to add knew material. He...

Answer - Question

Murphy, I have read accounts of Aztec presence at Goldfield area. I can't remember where. One account may be the mysterious shaft, tunnel, and spiral staircase that Andy Synbad uncovered but did not complete on the South side of the mountain. Said to have Aztec treasure. Rumors is right. So, no real...

Tom, I just forgot to add - Their is a "modern" history of people camping in weeks wash north of G.F. It is a perfect spot to camp and look up at Superstition Mt. - "standing like the ruins of some great walled city." Their is rock ruins on the banks of Weeks Wash that could be v...

Pre-Anglo

Tom, Just a quick message after reading these posts. The Mormon Stope is known to have a pre anglo tunnel on the south side. Said to be Spanish. That is the only one I know of. We have not explored it yet because it is covered. Tom K. could be the best source of this question or John Wilborn. It is ...

Joe, Plane - existance, flat or level surface. We all bring something to the table. Newton was probably teaching others a lesson. - Once you gain an achievement you need everyones support more than ever or you are nothing. THE ELITE

Hi Very good Tom. If you live long enough I think you will find everyone is on the same plane. It seems some people are always fighting for the top. Sometimes bowing to the elite is showing little respect for yourself and may hinder your own thoughts and findings. So why play coy? The elite is nothi...

To All, tc1228 Has anyone suggested tc1228 go to dutchhunter.com? Im sure he would have lots of fun there. Since you are interested in Clay, tc1228, he is on video at that web site. It may be news to Clay. Clay did a fine job. He understands the big picture on a level above the rest thus giving more...

To share or not to share

Aurum, Thankyou. Did you just find D. Ortega? This is like Easter Day if you did. I see why Joe would be interested in the word "cartel". I have a confession to make. I left out "Maricopa" Mexican Scout in this account. The account meant half Mex., half Indian. I knew it, but did...

1860's

Aurum, Dutch Ortega. 1860's - Supposedy worked for scalpers. Kinda brings Ortega killing full circle for me. You may be right in your assumption. - That Pedro was killed by Jacob. That they, the Ortegas and Jacob, had an unfriendly past. I'm sure we can dig up more on this! Respectfully, Jesse

Home? -- Sups.

Joe, In answer to your question, I think the simple answer is best. I really don't think he needed to go to the home. I don't think it was needed with Julia around. I'm not sure of his health leading up to the last months but I bet he was fine for an 80 year old man. Would you leave your own freedom...

Joe,

It is just an account as I stated. I forgot to put quotation marks. Someone once wrote to me that no answer is sometimes the correct answer.

Peralta

TGH,

As I understand it the Peraltas were in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. By this late in the game there were Peraltas all over. Besides, this date of some Peraltas returning is not an often questioned piece about the Legend. Why do you ask?

Respectfully,

Jesse

Waltz or previously Waltzer

Murphy, Joe, Aurum, An interesting account that sheds more light on Jacob much before 1884. bill711,

Hi. It does get a little confusing. I only know of one Peralta mining party in 1864. The other is in 1848 and the previous years. Same family, and a whole other episode that could be talked about for pages. Look at page 2 of this topic if you have'nt found it yet.

Military Trail ?

Bill711, The two parties - The Peraltas and Perro Mucho, Mexican Mayor of Peralta Alto - said in 1864. That John Walkers Pima Indian Scouts massacred. The Homeguard was more less Pima Ind. that did not fight, although you could say they helped. I'm sure there was many more massacres of "Mexis&q...

To all, You are all correct in your own ways. You all care about the Legends.- but could learn to get along better. Nothing personal, just an observation. Opinions are fun though. So have at it. Bill711 I'm not sure what you are asking, but give this a whirl. The raiding party for John Walker was Pi...
