sorry...numbers are difficult for me...if you travel out of camp verde, towards the interstate, you will see the cross up on the hillside above the interstate... i traveled over there the other day, to visit someone on the far side of camp verde, and noticed the cross is far easier to see traveling ...

so...someone sent me photos of a ruin in that area a while back...up on high...probably can see the stone map site from these ruins.. if the stone maps are genuine, then that is where they were probably carved... the person who sent the pics did not notice a pile or scattering of stone chips...i ask...

alan, i have spent most of my life outside in the southwestern mountains and basins... i went to high school out in superior...wandered places people will tell you one can not get to from here. i have yet to see more than a blaze in a tree, or a stack of rocks to mark a trail. though some pictograph...

one did not need to go north to find apache outside tucson...

one only had to live on the outskirts of tucson to find apache.

any further attempt to be a historian{ for me} is futile.
