Novice I think I have zeroed in on the area you are interested in based on the information provided by Jim Hamerick. I provided the Lat/Lon on the third map. Let me know if you need more. Jan Direct link to the online aerial photo of the neighborhood shown on the topo maps. It doesn't appear to be t...

Is there an echo in here today? LOL Larry, Interesting posts, I didn't even mind reading the last one twice <Smile> It happens to all of us at one time or another. Do you have a LINK or URL to the Treasure Hunter's University you mentioned above? I would like to visit that website. Thanks, Jan

antc, It is hard for anyone to determine if they have been to the mine you speak of because the website you reference does not tell where it is. It is obvious that the webmaster is using scanned copies of the stone map photos from Jim Hatt's book "The Peralta Stone Maps" (Hardly "Publ...

Roger, Nice post! In your usual style you present all the facts and sources! Mr. Lyon’s reputation is certainly impeccable and his information probably is also. However, "Treasure Signs, Symbols, Shadow, & Sun Signs" only provides Mr. Kenworthy’s interpretation of the information provi...

All, I see I am not the only one intertested in Mel Fisher's adventures. Does anyone know if it is true that Chuck Kenworthy was partners with him? Also, somewhere on this wensite I once read a conversation about the stone maps and it was mentioned that Bob Corbin had them analyzed in Washington D.C...

Joe,

I think you missed my point. I was emphasizing Faith, and Perseverance. Mel Fisher was just the example not the subject.

Pay attention Joe, there will be a quiz at the end :!:

Joe, Your "Mowery" point is understood. My comments on references and sources apply to my own as well as others. Something I struggle with all the time. "Verifiable Documents" pertaining to "covert" activities are rare. When they do exist, they are very filtered. As a f...

SOURCES OF INFORMATION

Sources of information Joe wrote: “Mining in the New World was predicated on a few things outside the presence of valuable ore. Of great importance were: The degree of hostility of the native population in the area, the number of soldiers available for protection, and settlements to support the min...

Roger, I find it most interesting that the Stone Crosses have both a Heart and a Triangle on them. Symbols that are also significant on the Peralta Stone Maps. Is it just by coincidence that the Latin Heart which is itself Heart shaped also refers to a Triangulum? I spent many hours discussing these...

Larry / Joe, That is very interesting and very close to the time period (1751) that I am interested in. In consideration of Joe's added information it might be possible that his father had either been to the area before him, or had heard stories about the area that he passed on to his son. I intend ...

Joe, About the only thing in the story that a person could get a handle on as far as any kind of a clue was the artifacts at the University that had the Latin inscriptions. I have photos of those articles coming to me in the mail. I am told there are also some symbols on them that don't make any sen...

Thanks you guys, The responses are great! The map clearly shows that in ...

Looks like everyone is signing the pledge with their full name except the original author of the pledge.

Maybe he will come back and edit his post to conform with the rest of us.

I agree,

I don’t understand why Joe’s response was addressed to me as well as several other people, but since it is I will consider it an invitation to respond to the subject without responding to Joe's personal comments. From reviewing the article I cannot conclude that there is any claim in it by Mr. Davis...

It might work

I BELIEVE... I believe - That we don't have to change friends if we understand that friends change. I believe - That no matter how good a friend is, they're going to hurt you every once in a while and you must forgive them for that. I believe - That true friendship continues to grow, even over the ...
