Aurum,
thank you for the information. This little guy really appears to have been carved out of solid stone. He weighs 117 grams...just a little over a quarter of a pound. The dirt brings out the detail.
Wiz,
no mummies yet.

Deity
Wiz, I know what you mean...I hate when that happens! Mummies...ick! Bill, my experts tell me he is too old to be Mexican, but so far no-one has been able to identify his origin. He looks Spanish to me, but what do I know? Aztec? Mayan? To me, he looks alot like the drawings of the little miners in ...

Deity
All good questions. I suppose some clever cad could have carried him out there and left him for one of us to someday find, but under the circumstance, I doubt it. He is made of stone, and he appears to be real. I agree that he is one bad little dude. I also agree that he needs to be examined by some...

Mine Deity
I have posted a few new pictures at the Members Archive , including two photos of a small mine deity I recently found near an old Spanish dig. I haven't been able to learn much about him, as there's not much to be found on the net related to the subject. He looks Spanish from the front, but he looks...

Cactus
Knun, you'll love my reasoning... If remnents of the cactus are lying about, like the bones, I assume it's natural. Charles W. Kenworthy goes into some detail in his book Treasure Signs, Symbols, Shadows & Sun Signs and I have documented many "Banded Cacti" as well as "Mexican Tri...

Legend
Knun, good point. I come across freshly broken cactus quite often. We received a great deal of rain early this spring, and many Saguaro broke from the weight. I am amazed by how cleanly some can break. Some are also damaged by birds. Even rabbits have been known to eat the lower, outer parts of a Sa...

Legend
How revealing... As I've said before, I don't understand how this sort of conduct will help us find anything. WW was only trying to attract some visits to his website. I don't mind if he toots his own horn. He's obviously not the only loose screw around these parts. I would encourage him to post som...

Legendary
Wiz, you are always so diplomatic. Wyatt may not have been a legend last week, but he has certainly become infamous around these parts in the last few days. However, I doubt we will be talking around the campfire about him much any time soon. I don't believe we are currently allowed any fires at all...

Legendary
I have been silent on this subject for far too long. I wouldn't want any of you to think I have died and reincarnated myself as "Lazarus, The Famous And Legendary Living Dead Guy". Let there be no doubt...I too am a legend in "My Own Mine" but quite frankly, I can't even spell &q...

Rubbish!
What a load of rubbish! How does this nonsense contribute to the search for the Dutchman's mine? How come no womens clothing were reported to be found hanging on a nail on Jacobs wall or crammed into a box under his cot?

Bill711, They seem to be storytellers over there rather than researchers. I am not suggesting their stories aren't true, but I have my doubts. They remind me of theDude and his buddy... So a snake crawls out of three feet of solid dirt...what did they then do with the snake? Was it a King Snake? A S...

Bill, I don't doubt there is a horse on the topo map, although I have never viewed it. Like I stated, I am willing to consider just about any clue, even something as grand as a horse shaped topo map. You just never know... Good posting! p.s. the mountains were crawling with activity today... I thoug...
