Killer Bees

Gene, Thanks for providing the link to the article on Killer Bees. It's really quite informative. It is tue that bees can remain agitated, and thus aggresive for extended periods of time. Fortunately, I have not encountered such an angry mob. I have posted a photo on the archive page that you may fi...

Killer Bees?

Killer bees? It is not uncommon to encouter enormous swarms of bees in the wilderness. Killer bees? I know that such a threat exists, but even killer bees, as aggressive as they are, will generally ignore humans unless provoked. On more that one occasion, I have stuck my face right into the thick of...

Peter,
I warned him that I might just do that...and I might. I don't take that sort of conduct lightly.

Joe is right. other than ASUgrad, people are not breaking down my door to get a look at the little guy. I have been in Manhattan for the past two weeks. I was hoping I would return home to find good news, but that has not been the case. So far, the academic community has been very slow to respond. laz

Blackmail?

Bill, once again, thank you for the kind words of support. I think we all know who the good guys are... I really don't know what ASUgrad was thinking when he hacked my IP address. His actions are indeed those of a desperate, pathetic man. You'll notice he didn't have any qualms about threatening to ...

Blackmail?

If you guys are wondering whatever happened to our old pal ASUgrad, it appears he is not as ethical as he would have us believe. Today I recieved an e-mail from him in which he threatens to expose my identity if I don't tell him where I found the deity. This is the entire e-mail, verbatim. "Ha ...

I agree with Peter.
I think it best we just ignore this guy.
He has distracted the forum too often...we all know his intentions.

I will not be responding to any negative posts from him.

Joe, just a hunch, but I suspect the stone maps may indeed be older than 1847. That date just feels too recent to me. My feeling is that the numbers do not represent a date. I usually stay away from posts I am unsure of, but what the heck... I just thought I'd bring this thread back to the forefront...

No Need To Apologize

Joe, No need to apologize. I can’t express how helpful you have been. Please express my thanks to Dr. Smith as well. Of course, the door is not closed on the subject. I would think it unwise to discount Dr. Smith’s conclusions, but then as you stated, he has only photos from which to work. The upsid...

Welcome

Robage, welcome to the forum, and good day. I must admit, your find caught me somewhat off guard. I believe you may be onto something...or perhaps just on something. It's hard to be certain. I recall images similar to these as a child. Don't quote me on this, but I believe they may be pagan religiou...

My Turn

My turn… In 1912, Arizona became the last of the adjoined 48 states to enter the Union. However, much of the territory had previously been acquired from Mexico as part of the Gadsden Purchase of 1853. Prior to this, Mexico occupied all of what is now the US southwest. The Arizona landscape is pock m...

Joe, thank you so much. ASUgrad, if you had read through the posts along this thread more carefully, you would have seen that the first place I contacted was ASU. For whatever reason, they have been slow to respond. Perhaps they think it is a modern piece of junk too! No matter, if the deity does tu...

Deity

ASUgrad, you and I are in agreement on this. If the object turns out to be authentic, and I think it might, it most certainly belongs in a museum. No-one has ever bothered to ask what I intended to do with it, including you. As Bill711 stated, I think you have underestimated the integrity of myself ...

Wow, what have I started? ASUgrad, welcome to the forum. Your authority on the subject is greatly appreciated. However, it is obvious you do not major in diplomacy. Snake

Joe, your information on Mayan culture is fantastic. Thanks! It is most certainly supposed to be a snake, and the pattern on the eyes is very cobra-like. The 'body' of the snake doesn't have any pattern. It is smooth. I have done a great deal of research on my own, and I have not found an answer. I ...

Snake

Bill, I believe the right side of his head may be wrapped by the snake's body, but there is not much detail. With all due respect to Joe, I am certain it wasn't intended to be a rattlesnake. I think if it were a rattlesnake, it would be coiled up on top of his head. Once again, I'm only guessing. I ...

Snake skin

Joe,
I don't really see a snake body, so to speak. The head itself is shaped like a cobra, not a rattlesnake. The snake does not look like anything I have ever seen in the Arizona desert. If you have comments you can add concerning the snake, please do so.

Thanks again,

Case in point

Joe, case in point. On the post above, Wyatt Westwood signed in as Bill 711 and then signed the post as Wyatt . This is a really odd habit, even for someone as knucklebrained as Wyatt Westwood. Wyatt, if you can't stick with one name, how can you be trusted to stick with one story? Knock off the non...

Searching in all the right places

Joe, thank you for your assistance. As of this evening, I have yet to hear back from anyone, although I am in no hurry. On A String

Joe,
perhaps you missed it, but we have already determined Wyatt Westwood's
alter ego. You may want to read back a few entries. He also posts as
"Blackbeard" and other variations of names already in use. Don't let him fool you with his nonsense.

Stools

Bill, good obsevation! The seats are not from the same location as the deity. The mine itself may have been worked by Mexicans, but I don't believe the stools are more than seventy years old. I don't believe they have any value other than historical. There are several trees in the same area that wer...
