Hi Hiker.
There are a couple things that can be done.
First--depending on if the webmaster can do it--I've seen forums that give you the option of seeing the whole page like you see on this site, OR seeing the whole page at once. That is, all the messages in their entirety in a single, lon...

Can anyone help me?
I've mentioned before that I'm PC-challenged. I'd like to print the contents of this bulletin board, without having to open each posting and click "print". Anyone know if/how this can be done? There's some great stuff here, and I've had it happen before that I find ...

I already agreed that no one on this board is causing problems.

Your claims to the contrary, this is not a new issue. Spring restrictions are DECADES old.

Preventing camping there is not the same thing as preventing access. You can still camp near there and get all the water you wa...

Charlebois and Bees - Another View
Most EVERY desert spring in EVERY state has restrictions as to how close you can camp. I have even read that Arizona has a statewide law to that effect.

So why should Charlebois be any different? In fact having seen all sorts of garbage left in there over the years I am all for enforcing su...

Hi S.C.
The cover, the tape, and the credits at the end say 1961, and not a 1970's date.
So this tape I have must be a copy of the first of his 2 video productions, I guess, the second being the one you originally mentioned in this post...
Thanks for bringing this to attention. I may ...

I think what Ron was referring to that was German was the Discovery program with Ward - the one made by Tandem Film. I tried to research this and Tandem is indeed a German company. The likelihood of finding a video is ZERO - unless the airing network (Discovery) decides to sell it...

Anyway...

Actually, a Robert E Lee short film!
Hmm. The video I'm speaking of was an episode in an early 60's series called "Passport to Adventure." Not a German production.
But after you replied, Ron, I watched it again to see if it was what you were referring to.
The first and only time before today was a couple years ago, ...

1960 TV short doc on LDM
This one turned up in the $1 bin at Bookman's: "The Lost Dutchman Mine," "Part of 'Passport to Adventure' series first seen in 1960-1961." Eagle Lion Video Prod.
It's a 30 minute, cheesily made documentary that barely offers an overview of the legends and locales--I'm not su...

Anyone heard anything back from any congressmen about the Charlebois outrage? I haven't heard a peep.

Yes, all the ending credits are there. They list the director, editors, production company, etc. Didn't see a date though.

Also, I got one thing wrong. This Discovery Channel episode is not the one with the Apache tribal member explaining their viewpoint on the Superstitions. That was in th...

I have two programs that I taped from TV. Neither too good, because I started the tape after I realized what the program was about. So the details in the opening credits are missing.

The Discovery Channel program I mentioned has Tom Kollenborn, Bob Corbin, Bob Ward, and Bob Schoose on it. A...

LDM Videos and Television Programs
In the discussion of Bob Ward below it was mentioned he appeared in a program about the LDM on the Discovery Network some time back. This brings up the topic of programs about the LDM in general and what is available and where. I was not aware of the Discovery program in quetsion and would like to k...

For what this is worth:
A guy who works at the Mineral Resource Museum in downtown Phoenix (I'm not sure that's the exact name, but it's at 15th st and Adams) told me the original Stone Maps are stored there (the mineral museum), and that you have to pay something like $50 for them to trot the m...
