I am trying to see where I saw it, but I do remember a photo that shows the skull head on and there are apparently from that angle 2 holes of somewhat equal size. I also remember seeing statements from the report from Dr Hrdlicka, and it gave the size of the holes. Though it seemed they were of equa...

Holmes manuscript

It does seem unusual though that Waltzs supposed nephew and the elusive Weiss were both in the prescott area with Waltz. Somehow both are essential parts of the storylines of two separate variations. It seems odd the cultural familiarity with the Thomas line should have been more a proper source. Un...

Maps,Clues,Treasures

I have spent considerable time in the Superstitions since 1974, and while there is always campfire talk about the mine, I have not spent a single minute searching for a lost mine or buried treasure. I know many people personally who have wasted a small fortune and ruined their lives chasing phantoms...

Holmes manuscript

I am curious why so many people seem to hold Glovers "Holmes manuscript" in such high esteem, when it is contradicted by actual facts we all know. Jacob Waltz seemed to exceptionally succinct and rather longwinded for someone in his condition. He seems to have forgotten he was a naturalize...

Hole in the rock

Just curious how many holes in the rock there are?I know of several in different areas that match descriptions. They all are only large enough for people and the inclines would also prevent horses from travelling through. As is usual they are difficult to find a second time. One actually comes out an...

I ACTUALLY ENJOYED THE BOOK, AS IT WAS PREFERABLY FACTUAL AND KEPT A LOT OF THE INNUENDOS AND FABRICATED STORIES TO A MINIMUM. I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A COMPANION PIECE TO THE "CURSE", BUT IT IS MORE OF A REVISION WITH ADDITIONAL MATERIAL. I TOO EXPECTED SOMETHING MORE FROM BOB CORBIN ON HIS...

NEW CORBIN BOOK

I was a bit curious if anyone else had picked up the new book by Helen Corbin yet. I was surprised to see it just sitting on a book shelf, I didnt think it was out yet. This was last friday. I am on my third go around with it .

Crazy Jake

I was also curious about a Prospector I ran into frequently coming up from Bluff Springs while I was coming up around to Geronimos cave on the way to Fremonts saddle. He was an older gentleman with gray hair and thick beard. He was propably from 5'6 to 5'10 but walked stooped over. He never had any ...

Magill mine

I am a bit curious in the fact that I never have seen any photograhic evidence of the Magill mine and tunnel. Supposedly the tunnel was unable to be photographed and what I have seen of the mine could be anyplace outside the Superstitions. Has anyone located those diggings to verify that claim or is...
