What REALLY happened to Adolph Ruth?

Hola amigos, First, I would like to compliment our compadre Djui5 (Randy Wright) on that excellent article, "In the Footsteps of Adolph Ruth" - well done buddy! Adolph Ruth http://www.superstitionmountain.info/chronicles/images/2009/02_02_09_a.gif <from Tom Kollenborn's article, see link b...

Re: Superstition Mountain Journal 2007

A shotgun from that era would be a muzzle-loader, shells (cartridges) for breechloaders had not been invented. Here is an example, dating to 1850's but basically would be the same design.

Re: The Trail of Jacob Waltz’s Gold Ore

Wasp, do you have any photos of that ore which made up the 7 pound sample, which you could post? Thank you in advance,

Re: The Trail of Jacob Waltz’s Gold Ore

Wasp wrote Oroblanco, You are assuming the report is an assay instead of an analysis. In a previous post it was stated the report is an analysis. The underground reserves and overall richness of the ore was not the focus of the analysis. You are assuming a blacked out word is to prevent someone else...

Re: The Trail of Jacob Waltz’s Gold Ore

A big Dakota HOWDY to Randy, Joe, Paul and HOLA amigos to everyone! I notice that a part of the minerals listed in the description has been blacked out - to help prevent someone else from locating the mine I suppose, but the minerals listed are enough to go pretty far in helping to ID any suspect or...

Ronne wrote Hello all good Dutch Hunters Living in LA is really not too far from the Supers. However, being disabled I cannot consider any on site travel. Re: The Trail of Jacob Waltz’s Gold Ore

Tag post, please ignore, but will add this - very interesting thread! Finally someone has addressed the most important evidence and only key evidence which could prove absolutely whether someone has found the mine of Jacob Waltz - the ORE! Thank you!

Story of how the Peralta stones were found

Haven't stopped by here in a while, being one of those who "drifted in from Treasurenet" out of mutual interest and curiosity. I have a single question.

What is the source of the version of the stone maps being found or stolen from a mission in Arizpe?

Biased opinions?

"Bob Corbin is simply pulling everyones leg?" Greetings, I have no desire to cast aspersions on Bob Corbin, however it must be noted that Mr Corbin was and is a member of the Phoenix Dons club, whose purpose is (quote from their website) "For more than 65 years, the Dons' goal has be...

the stone maps are real.....

Hi Randy - only heard about it, didn't read the post before it was removed. Okay for the sake of argument, lets say the stone maps are genuine. You have already found several of the sites they seem to lead to - so who made them, and what are they really for? Why the date or number 1847? :| Roy ~ Oro...

rock formations

Greetings, Whether this strange stone is a natural formation or carved by the hand of man really would not make too much difference for a treasure hunter - for if it is a natural formation, why would it not be useful as a 'marker' for the Spaniards or anyone else? So if it is natural, it can still b...

thanks

Thanks for the kind words Randy and Mike - I seem to have missed the personal attack. Not sure just what I posted that seems to have set the fellow off. Perhaps my post on the horse-head photos? All I said there was that it looked like a natural formation to me, which certainly doesn't PROVE that it...

style

Greetings, The style of the inscriptions has been mentioned as perhaps the best method of determining the age and/or validity of the stones - I have to agree. I could not find any Spanish or Mexican inscription quite like the Peralta stones or 'the stones' which ever name one prefers to call them. O...

stone

Greetings,
It is tough to tell from a photo if this is carved by man or nature. Just an opinion here but I would say this is an interesting yardang - natural formation. Any other evidence to suggest it is not natural?

welcome

Thanks buddy! So what is your view of these stones? It seems an opinion can swing back and forth as to whether these are real or fakes as each new bit of info comes out. It is not easy to sit on a fence either! Experts have looked at the stones and came up with polar opposite opinions, so we mere mo...

Out of hiding...

Greetings, I decided to quit lurking and be 'visible' here. Quite a discussion, started out very interesting but did see some hostility break out and the discussion of the stones stopped. I hope the 'war' can be ended on friendly terms, as this has been a very interesting subject. These Peralta ston...
