Re: LDM, What are we really looking for?
Lets go for round two To the best of my recollection, as I do not have the benefit of my library with me, Jacob Waltz discovered the mine sometime around 1873 or therebouts, he died in 1898 or 99. That gives us about 30 years and he only made a few trips to the mine. Once when young Petrasch tried t...

Re: The FIRST Set of STONE MAPS
Hello Mike I did some overlay work on the photo that you provided with one that I took of the stone tablets in 2009. I was particularly looking at the broken edges of the tablets and came to the conclusion that the ones in the photo with the oldsmobile are the same ones on display in the museum. It ...

Hello
Just a quick question
How can the chain of custody evidence be unbroken or above scrutiny if it is secret?

Hello Mike
Could you cite the references for the evidence in the existance of Waltz nephew?
In my opinion the Holmes manuscript is weak and Sims Ely's account is weaker still.
Best Regards

In my research I have not found any strong evidence to support the story of Jacob Waltz shooting his nephew, whenever I try to track it down it fades into the wind.
I do not think that the story is true.
Has anyone even verified that waltz had a nephew?
Best Regards

LDM, What are we really looking for?
There has been a lot of stuff flying around on this site and most of it is great information. Many thanks to all of you who have contributed to the pool of information about the Lost Dutchman. I just need to sort it out and get back to the clear picture. These are the facts as I know them, feel free...

Re: Hoo-rah! Osama bin Ladin is killed
Hello Cubfan You are right in the possibility of escallation but, with bin laden gone the glue that held al qeida together is gone as well. What we will see is a lot of infighting as each jackass fights for supremacy and some halfassed attempts at revenge, like the shoe bomber or the underware ...

Disgusted with Davenport
I do not usually get up on the soapbox, it takes a lot to get me pissed off. The latest idiocy from an elected official has done the job. Marilyn Davenport, represenative of Orange County California has crossed the line from proffesional slight to an offense that should have anyone who loves this co...

Re: The FIRST Set of STONE MAPS
Hello Mike In regards to the heart stone, do you know who or how the cracks were glued together? This has puzzled me for some time, it is difficult to tell from observation. If travis glued the heart stone together after breaking it then the glue, whatever it is should be of recent origin. Just a th...

Hello Ron Thank-you for those kind words I am thrilled that you have found renewed faith in the existance of the Lost Dutchman Mine. Re: The Stone Maps
Hello Oroblanco The Jesuits were not rounded up by the Spanish authority, there is a description of the events in the introduction to Rudo Ensayo. The Jesuits were told by the provincial to travel to Matape for a meeting, some of the Jesuits questioned what it was about but none of them expected to ...
