I just got back and read the posts. Hiker, I don't know if domestic livestock is the same when mine might be classified as commercial livestock. You don't have to be a genius to look and see what is happening all through the U.S.The government is pushing more control not less in all facets of our li...

I'm with ya on that Ron!
I wonder if posting "ominous" signs like "Littering is an offense punishable by $500" and "Ranger Patrol Area" would help curb the garbage that goes in (and stays) there. Otherwise, it's just another case of the government throwing more bul...

Well. obviously you've already thought about this "domestic stock" thing, but if not your animals, what ARE they referring to? Cattle could be called commercial stock too. I would interpret it as saying they have no right to try and keep you from water. Wouldn't "domestic" be the...

No, they are not directly aiming at putting us out of business, although , sometimes ,they make it diffcult to operate. The Forest Service is controlled by outside forces, and their greatest force that they listen to is the extreme enviromentalists. The Forest Service oils the squeakist wheel.Certainl...

Do what I always do: click my heels together 3 times, repeating "theres no place like home", then run around in a circle until you get sick. It won't get you home, but it will take your mind off of things.

My Friends, The Search I

Dear Fellow Explorers,

I have spent the last 15 years of my life in search of the lost dutchman's goldmine, and today, my search is over. I have found it ! It is more beautiful than I had ever expected. Nuggets the size of large rocks ! The glimmer from the gold is almost blinding ... It wi...

I think #1 would be pretty tough too. There are people who know pretty much who comes and goes in the mountains, and when. If you found something and went back in with enough gear to do a little digging, someone would notice. You couldn't do it alone: you would have to have a partner or two, to watc...

Maybe we shouldn't say it. All of you know that someone poking around in that area without knowing what they were doing could disappear. I don't think anyone wants that. Then, there's the matter of respect. Those who have some would not want to start a stampede in such a sensitive area. Think before...
