Yall forget the reply to Greg Davis from Bob Corbin himself. He said he worked at the US ATTORNEYs OFFICE IN PHOENIX! He didn't work for the state! That's why he wouldn't have known about the case. The state probably sent the stones for testing as part of an investigation. An investigation is pretty...

OKAY YOU TWO! STOP IT! :D :D :D I believe this aspect of the story. Walker12, I will tell you why they would have been sent to the FBI rather than somewhere in Arizona: I believe this was all part of the MOEL Inc deal. MOEL Inc bought the stones from T Tumlinson's widow for $1200. For whatever reaso...

What's the matter Randy? Don't give up yet. This is just starting to get really good! I can tell that you believe the stones to be fakes, and this would be a big blow. You seem to question the integrity of both Tom Kollenborn and Bob Corbin. I have spoken to many people regarding Tom K (mainly about...

And KRF, You jumped on Joe about the FBI Testing, but you have no proof (other than anecdotal) that the tests ever occurred! I think it is perfectly ok to discount the supposed FBI Tests until they are proven to have been done. Almost every single piece of information having to do with the Peralta S...

Thanks Joe, I have ideas myself, but I would dearly love to find out those two things. I have seen the Bob Corbin thing many times, but no proof of it. A positive word from him or his wife would probably put me over the fence (which I'm still sitting on). I have been going through the threads here a...

Tom Kollenborn and The Peralta Stones
I was told that Tom Kollenborn absolutely believes that the Peralta Stones are a hoax. I haven't been able to find proof af that, and thought someone here could help me. If it is true, what does he base this on? Since he has much personal knowledge on the subject of the LDM, his thoughts would give ...

Hey Buscar, The one thing no doubt most baffling of all when seeking shelter from the rain, and finding gold, is the remarkable coincidence of the discoverers being in the right place at the right time. It is almost like winning a major state lottery. I think you answered your own question. IF (and ...

Re: Moses
="Joe Ribaudo" Mike, I have heard and read the story of how Ruth broke his hip, and I don't believe he was just wandering about. Gene gives some pretty good accounts of the incident, which he gleaned from the Ruth family, in Borrego 13 Joe Ribaudo No, he wasn't just wandering about. He ha...

Hey KRF, It's nice of you to rally to the defense of Ruth. He was not a Greenhorn in the desert, but he also was not a desert rat! In 1919, he didn't just fall into a ravine. He and his son were out in the (now) Anza-Borrego Desert looking for lost Peralta Mines with the maps his son (Erwin)had obta...

Come on! How do you think it went? They had to talk about ten treasures in a one hour show. With commercials, that's about 4 to 4.5 minutes per segment! I've seen it before. It's a neat little four minute story. No details or much history. Nothing anybody here didn't hear in their first five minutes...

That's true. There even may not have been any ore in the pack at all. Too bad the deputy didn't inventory the pack too. Now, we will never know. Whatever he DID have in the pack did not show the way to anything, otherwise the imposter wouldn't have needed the notes Gassler gave Kollenborn. Either th...

"JIM HAMRICK"Today I took a tour of the Apache Junction area via Google Earth and was amazed at the encroachment of civilization as I think of it as it was in the mid forties and fifities. The time is near when all that was so fine is lost for ever. There are two old sayings that contradi...

Hey Jesse, I'm not sure what software is used for this forum, but typically there should be (in the admin area) that lists the IP Addresses of every member. That should be another way to cut down on multiple user ID's. See how many user id's are from the same IP Address. If you get more than one use...

This is a little late, but I believe the Miner's Needle is a Keystone Monument. Usually, when the Spanish made keyhole monuments, the keyhole only indicated that this trail was one that led to a mine or cache. You had to look at other markers and monuments on the same hill/mountain to get the actual...

I Need to Find A Certain Tracker from Canada
I need your guys assistance if possible. I got a first hand story about a group of guys that went into the Superstitions a few years ago with a tracker from Canada. He was a black guy who had tons of real world knowledge about Spanish Sign, markings, and monuments. The story goes that this group wer...

OK Don, I AM saying that the numbers of handicapped and mentally impaired is miniscule. I'm not saying that all homeless poeple are crackheads ands alcoholics, but a HUGE majority of them are there by virtue of their own poor choices in life. Those few that are destitute and homeless due to permanen...

The Lost Sheep Mine
I recently heard about this mine for the first time. Does anybody have any new information about it? Here's what I know; When Edgar Cayce was asked to do a reading for the location of the LDM, he also talked about an even richer mine called the "Lost Sheep Mine". He said it was just over t...
