Re: OKAY, I think I figured this thing out.

Are you sure the Deadwood days ended way back then?

Only one major gold mine still operating, but SD was the leading gold producing state for many years until the Homestake mine shut down.

Not to derail this topic, just an observation. The Jesuits 'endeavors' in China went somewhat off the rails, gaining numerous 'converts' though it was highly questionable whether it was anything resembling Christianity. The Jesuits adapted the Catholic rituals to suit the local Chinese people, resul...

Holyground you don't know me, nor anything about what successes or disappointments I have had. Enjoy the mixture of fact and fiction, seems you prefer it that way.

Re: Another Dutchhunter

Tom Kollenborn passed away September 27. Tom was a living legend and we are all the poorer for his passing, for no one knew the history of the Superstitions and the southwest like Tom Kollenborn. I was lucky enough to meet Tom and became friends, we are going to miss him terribly.

Re: OKAY, I think I figured this thing out.

I can't remember the first time I posted here, but I haven't seen anything come back, well one, but it was formal with no response required. So, are the people that post here, or used to post here, all passed on? Were they those old guys I used to see sitting under the awnings of their fifth wheels...

Re: Yellow Jackets

Hi Joe; The Marine reference was due to my being told that, back when we first started chatting online. It was from a friend whom has passed away, but he had only said that he believed you were a Marine, and I had never questioned it. Your being a Vietnam veteran actually helped support that idea of...

Klondike, you have NO idea what research I have done on the Tucson "artifacts". No more than what flavor ice cream I favor. It is you whom are in for a rude awakening amigo, for you seem to be ignoring the many indictments and even guilty pleas now starting to flow. Also, I want to point o...

Klondike wrote Imagine Roy will not be back. Well you are partly right. Joe and I have disagreed on poly-ticks before, but mainly because I am an ex-Republican. It is hardly the basis of our friendship, and we don't like the same flavor ice cream best either. No disagreement over poly-ticks, no matt...

Joe Ribaudo wrote You sound very much like the Democrats trying to explain why their memo should be released as it was written. Joe I am beyond shocked at your post. Gentlemen: Perhaps it will not do any danger to share with you a bit more. The history of Atlantis is incomplete at best. Even you can grant that as a point of discussion. More is not known about its location than is known. To understand why South Africa is the home of the ancients it is simple eno...

Roy, Instead of cursing the darkness you should try lighting a candle. It is not about what you have not been given it is about what you have been given. As I have stated again, and again the clues are out there you simply have to see them and you have to ask questions about what can be answered no...

Re: The Legend of the Superstition Mountains

Hi Roy, I know he had a map, but was it a "Ruth" map? Here's what I'm thinking: If Keenan and Purnell had any involvement in Ruth's death, how was it that Tex and Adams found Ruth's notes and at least one map on his body a few months later? Wouldn't Keenan/Purnell have taken those items w...

Klondike wrote Hello Roy, Mr. Odohul could not have made the artifacts because well we know who did make them. Re: The Legend of the Superstition Mountains

Hi Jim - I believe that Purnell had a map, in fact it is pretty much a certainty that he had a map as this became an object of contention when he enlisted a new partner, and the partner ran off with his map during a court hearing with Purnell in hot pursuit! Ruth had several maps apparently, which h...

Greetings Klondyke; I presume that you are concluding Mr Odohui couldn't have made the Tucson 'artifacts' because he could not get the old car battery lead used to make them? I can assure you that it is a certainty that he could obtain that type of lead. You have indeed stated that a large colony wa...
