Hey Thomas,
If you are going to look at evidence regarding the massacre, you have to take in many things I have yet to see here.
Silverlock and Malm for one. They found somewhere between $10,000 and $15,000 worth of float ore when gold was $20.67 ounce. They spent all that and then some trying to ...

You probably already know this, but those five signatures on the Frank Fish Map were of the five people that copies were made for. We know that from Lake Erie Schaefer (she and her husband are the first signature).

Mike,
As I have said, that's one of the main reasons why the Rendezvous was created. I know the background story of Donald's life, and it isn't a pretty picture. He turned out to be another person altogether from what he presented online. I think, for the most part, many people were surprised at ...

DAMN! I am sorry to hear that. Donald and I got off on about the same foot as you and he. We went at it many times on a couple of forums, but after we met face to face at the rendezvous a few years ago, we never had another problem.
My prayers are with you Donald.

Joe,
We missed you and Carolyn at the Rendezvous. Kurt Painter didn't show up! HAHAHA Bob Corbin and a bunch of other folks were there.
Hopefully, things will work out better next year.

CJack,
Be very careful about which stories you take to heart. In the old days, everybody had to have a new and different twist for their Lost Dutchman Mine Book. Sometimes they made the stories up, and attributed them to known Dutch Hunters. Sometimes they were the truth.

I thought they were brothers, and both were French Canadians. Does that sound familiar?

Roy,
The reason I posted that was because Joe (and others) are trying to say that Travis T INTENTIONALLY made the Stone Maps to sell along with his manuscript.
Also Roy, Janie might have been telling me an outright lie or she may have told Garry and Larry outright lies, but she lied to either them ...

Roy,
In your initial post, it looks like you are doubting the existence of the Two Soldiers Mine in the Supers. If it were just a story, I might be inclined to believe you. Too much first and second hand evidence for this to be fantasy.

Crooked Mountain Question
After the entire pit mine deal, I saw many references to "Crooked Mountain" being part fact and part fiction.
After reading the book, it left me wondering just how much was fiction? Its a great story. I understand that it was based (I don't know how loosely) on the Ted Cox notes RF used to get the ...
