Re: JIM HATT
I am sorry to hear of Jim’s passing. I never met him, but we shared lots of e-mail. He sure knew the Superstition Mountains and the stories that went along with them. I too regret never taking him up on the offers to go hiking. I will miss the e-mails.

Senner's Gold
Zentull,
Always been curious about that, too... Why it was never passed around as a screenplay.
Armchair,
Charles Williams… Very good observation.
Anyone else?

Senner's Gold
Hi Joe, All is well. Thanks. “Are you saying that the Peralta Maps are not accurate? Being accurate does not mean they lead to a treasure, only that they are a viable map of the terrain.” I do not know that they are a viable map of the terrain. Does anyone have POSITIVE proof? Anyhow, according to T...

Senner's Gold
It is assumed that the reader has read Thomas Kollenborn’s booklet, Al Senner’s Lost Gold of Superstition Mountain and/or Helen Corbin’s book, Senner’s Gold. From what I have read, I believe the facts are pretty straightforward. Further, it appears to support facts not found in both the legend of th...

Joe,
Are my eyes deceiving me (there is no knife visible) or is the picture of the stone maps on the bumper poor quality? Hmmm.

Windy, snow and cold
zentull
It’s windy and cold in Up State New York. All I have done is shovel snow… the snow banks are three feet high and every time the plow comes down the road, it just adds to the pile.
Wish I were there.

UFOs
It was during the '50s, '60s and '70s, numerous UFOs were sighted in the Superstition Mountains of Arizona, around Flat Iron and Bluff Spring Mountain, which is adjacent to the Circlestone Ruins. In 1973, two campers (no names mentioned), reported seeing a UFO land and then take off from the Circles...

Jean Dixon (1918-1997) was an astrologer, alleged psychic and writer. Tracy L. I do not have total reca...

Wow. It's never-ending that's for sure. Today, I received a comment at Member Archive in connection to a rock with the word oro written on it. Wisdom Of An Indian Chief
It was an average day and the Indians on a remote reservation asked their new Chief if there was gold in the Superstition Mountains. Since he was a Chief in a modern society he had never been taught the old secrets. When he looked at the mountains he would only point and say “Me talk to Thunder God....

Where is Ben Laden Hiding?
I can not vouch that the information I received from the Sanitations Department in New York City, is true or not. A sanitation worker was inspecting the piping that twists and turns through the numerous tunnels beneath the streets of NYC, when he noticed a man with a turban on his head and dressed i...

Visited by the ghost of the Dutchman One of the classic examples of stories is when I was visited by the ghost of the Dutchman Jacob Waltz. The visit occurred in the Arizona desert in the Superstition Mountains in the Spring of 1994. Balls of light and a transparent being stood motionless and was e...
