Campout
I would guess from the tone of your posting you were not invited to attend the campout. To bad for you and great for those who are going to attend, as we are all looking for a great time and would hate to have the company of you and others like you in our presence.

33rd Degree
Wyatt, it doesn’t make any difference whether it is Scottish or York Rites. A third degree Mason is a Master Mason. The 4th through the 32nd are nothing more than time and money. The 33rd is an elected or honorary degree for those who have donated their entire life to Masonry and its teachings. Ther...

The Peralta Stones
Gentlemen, Just as a point of interest; for those you who may or may not have convictions regarding the Peralta Stones, there is an interesting article in the January 2005 edition of Arizona Highways. Joe & Aurum,
Thank you for setting me straight back there regarding the true measurement of gold. I never did know the finite differences.

I think your math is off a tad
Gentlemen, I believe gold is measured as 12 oz per pound not 16. 35 pounds X 12 oz X $20.00 = $8,400.00 and I also believe gold was priced something less than $20/oz back then. I could be wrong.

Hummmmm, I didn't realize that you had two different sign in dates Joe! I was under the impression that you joined on September 2002. All of your postings use that date. Can I ask why you rejoined on 11 July 2004? Or is someone trying to look like Joe!
