why?

Actually, I’d like to know why Joe wants so badly to know my identity. Internet 101, that every child learns, is that you DO NOT divulge personal info to strangers on the internet.. in chat rooms or on discussion boards. Name and address should surely fit that bill. Some people choose to divulge thi...

Thanks. Then, I don’t think there is anything “unusual” about carrying around the samples. And I don’t think any person who does, would be considered a “fool”. I bet over the years a lot stranger things than ore samples have been carried into the mountains in people’s backpacks!

Getting back to Gassler. Does anyone know how many ore samples he was carrying in his backpack? Or the size and weight of the samples? If he had just a couple and if they weren't unusually large or heavy, I could see him carrying them around with him. Maybe they held sentimental value or what he fel...

P-
I was going to post my reply to your "classic b.s." post, but then you posted this one. I agree with both. You said exactly what I had been thinking. (you know what they say about great minds...)
Classic arrogance and denial....like you said "Never has..Never will"!!

Good post

Very good post Peter. Joe brings most on to himself, and evidently doesn't get it. I haven't seen "evidence" that people are "out to get him" or the forum. I enjoy reading this forum and have learned alot from it. Have you noticed that he hasn't accused you of being me (or vise-v...

And so ends another chapter in this on-going soap opera...tune in tommorrow. Will Joe and Peter really end up sharing brownies and stew or will Joe's paranoia get in the way?...Will the stone maps lead to the gold? Will new characters be alowwed to become cast member or cast-outs? Stay tuned for the...

Specifically, Joe, it would probably have to be you that possessed me to stay away for so long. Your attitude when you don't agree with someone and your paranoia of anyone who you don't know posting on here, really turns me off to the idea of sharing anything with you. As to kwa?? I have no idea wha...

you guys are better than the afternoon soaps..that's why I tune in to watch. I have not posted on here since August of last year...so, I don't know why Joe needs to be so paranoid of me, as to keep mentioning me in some of his posts. I said a long time ago, that I don't want or feel the need to get ...

my opinion..

Joe, If you want to call John Kochera a liar, that is certainly your choice. Easy to call a dead man a liar…you get no arguments back from him. Me, I’m not quite ready to throw the baby out with the bath water because of a few farts. What with the likes of Crazy Jake (and others) around, ready to bl...

contradiction

Joe, Unless I am mistaken (which could highly be likely), the contradition that Dr. Glover talks about with the Kochera letters comes from the direction to the location of the fiind..not of the find itself. Dr. Glover's passage from page 361 of "The Lost Dutchman Mine Of Jacob Waltz" state...

are there more

Hayward was one of 15 men that went and removed gold in 1942, then what happened to the other men that took part with him? Did they all die of "the curse"? $50,000 divided by 15 men is just alittle over $3000 a piece. I know that was quite a chunk of money in 1942, but still not enough to ...

exactly why I don't post...

You see why I don't post more. Joe has a comment for everything on this forum. And Bill who knows what you are talking about half the time. Your spelling skills really nead an upgrade. Like I said I enjoy a lively debate, but when it becomes nasty like it does, makes me want to sink back into the sh...

well..

I am sorry for my remarks, but It did feel like a slap in the face that just because I have only posted twice that I was not quite up to the standards of receiving any answers to the questions that I asked. I didn't realize that the info I sought was that "sacred". This is exactly why I do...

Joe was correct about me only posting twice on the forum..I don't post much, mostly because of people like him (although- nothing personel Joe) But he was wrong about one thing..I am not a man...tell him we did have that cup of coffee and that it wasn't near as bitter as he may have wished. thank-yo...

[quote="TGH"]LDM I doubt I could tell you any more than you already know about the subject matter. As you know I just putter around and try to help out when I can in my own small way. I have no desire to end up like Mr Cochera...not for a long while at any rate. :D Their reach is long and ...

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum, but find it fascinating with all the knowledge and speculation that goes on here. I found this site after reading Tom Glover's book and doing a web search on the LDM. After going through the archived forum discussions, I have a question? Could the story of the...
