I am wondering about the logistics of the search. I know the mountain rain fall has changed thru the last 30 years due to tne heat island effect Phoenix metro has brought on. Would the summer rains of 1892 allowed a 3-4 weeks stay in the mountains? I realize the Salt is just N.W. of the area. I have...

That reminded me of a group of people we were showing around the diggings. Three people stepped by or over a small rattler that was coiled
in the trail . I flipped it into the brush and then took the lead. There were a lot of snakes out in fall and spring.

I have a question. Where would a crossing of the Salt be likely near the present Morman Flat damn? Was is always a bedrock uplifting? or was it a n area where the river widens and flow was slowed? The area looks like a natural crossing. But that may have all been changed during damm building. Where t...

I spent most the day researching pottery, It seems that trying to date
pottery within a time frame of 200 yrs is almost impossible unless it was used for food stuffs. Then its expensive and usually done at taxpayers expense or in university labs.

In the late 70's we were asked to stay out of the Sup's during the weeks before and after Easter holidays. This request came from the San Carlos Apache's who told my Mentor in the 50-60's.The reason, I was told was ,that time was sacred. Easter was spent with my family .
