Re: The Legend of the Superstition Mountains

Certainly better than watching the national news. What I want to know, is who got stuck
carrying the 40 gallons of water after the horses left?

Re: The Stone Maps

Joe, Not trying to be cryptic at all. Most dutch hunters have at least seen a photo of picture rock. The petroglyph just south of Charlebois. Anyone that can't see a turtle touching the bottom of a capital letter D, has failed Stone Maps 101. No story. Self explanatory. Alan, I agree. The stones hav...

Re: The Stone Maps

Alan,

No doubt the information Garry discovered has created a lot of skeptics when it comes to the stone maps.
But it does not explain the back door that someone left prior to Tumlinsons involvement.

Re: The John B. Kochera Story Revisited

Joe, Just trying to give Garry another place to look if he hasn't already thought of it first. However.... If I was looking for the mine that Haywood told Kochera about, I would be looking further to the east. Not on Peters Mesa. Not in the area you spoke of in the Lost or Found thread either. Map k...

Re: The John B. Kochera Story Revisited

Garry, You might check with the Tribel Council at the Tonto Apache Reservation in Payson. It is the smallest reservation in the state. It did not come into existence until 1972 but it is not far from Tonto Basin at all. Finding something on Haywood would be a long shot but you never know what you ma...

Becks re-runs on a daily basis have better ratings than any other news
channel or network. I doubt if Fox will be dropping him very soon.

If Lou Dobbs ever switches over to Fox, no one will ever have to watch
any news channel but Fox.

Try senior citizen American U.S. Veterans. You know. The ones that will

How inspiring that speech in Virginia must be to the American People. Senior Citizens trying to exercise their 1st Amendment Rights. Obama sounds more like a labor leader that represents janitors, dish washers and yard service employees than he dose the President of this nation. That must be what th...

Jim, If you think you are upset now, try watching c-span(House and Senate) channel for a couple hours during the day. What we are dealing with now is just like after the Civil War. The 21st Century Carpetbaggers."We won and to the victors go the spoils" With only one major difference. The ...

The chain letter was close enough to make it's point. At the time of the Revolutionary War, only 1/3 of Americans were patriots. About 1/3 were loyalists to the king and about 1/3 were uncommitted to either side. (per the History Channel on July 4th.) The sad part is it would be much the same today....

Paul,

If you watch the news much you probably already know that Phoenix is
2nd only to Mexico City in kidnapping. Most of it linked to the drug trade and human smuggling.

85% of all viliant crime in Phoenix is caused by people here illegally.

Paul, Arpiao has been the Sheriff of Maricopa County for 16 years. There is close to 4,000,000 people living in the county. The petition that was sent to Washington contained 35,000 signatures. What does that tell you? Joe Arpaio is well thought of by most people in this state. That is, unless you ar...

Joe & Randy,

To be honest with you, I don't even have a problem with the legalities
of the dig itself. We all know the risk you will take if the mine is located.
I probably would have gone for it also.

But even in Viet Nam we burned and hauled off our trash.
